Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interactions on web pages.
• Develop front-end website architecture and back-end website applications
• Guide developers to deliver high-performance web applications from end-to-end
• Write clean, readable code and review existing code for optimization
• Collaborate with project owners, stakeholders, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze the full web development life cycle and keep documentation
• Oversee and manage design, maintenance and implementation web service APIs
• Take ownership of complete application development, maintenance, and support

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
• Hands-on industry experience developing scalable and robust software
• Experience with server-side libraries & frameworks like jQuery, ReactJS, AngularJS, Vuejs, TypeScript, etc.
• Exceptional grasp on front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, CSS style and cross-browser compatibility
• Expertise working in back-end technologies and web server frameworks like Python (Flask, Django), PHP (Laravel), Java, Go, Ruby, etc.
• Proficient with databases, APIs & third-party libraries
• Extensive working knowledge in Unix/Linux environment
• Working experience with web security (SS0, authentication, secure coding practices)
• Fluency in English language for effective communication
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

• Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Experience with version control systems, including Git
• Experience with CMS or LMS development, deployment, or migration
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
