About You and The Role

Does cycle counts, parts inventory storage and tracking, highly organised and orderly warehouse space planning and logistics transportation planning and execution come natural to you? Are you a meticulous organizer and ruthless executor of inventory management strategies that results in the most efficient ways that supports high excellence operations? At Zipline, your work will result in seamless running of high impact operations with customers and stakeholders counting on you everyday,  so there is no time for inventory errors, shortages and or transportation delays when they are needed.  If building and running a world class inventory system and centralized warehouse operations, up-scaling internal operations teams’ forecasting and demand planning skills through training and subject matter expertise mentoring interests you, READ ON!

What You’ll Do 

• Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
• Maintain system governance and data integrity, combined with the provision of functional advice/training as required, to ensure all users use the inventory management system appropriately and in accordance with prescribed principles.
• Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock always
• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
• Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
• Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
• Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment

What You’ll Bring

• You will bring extensive demonstrable experience in inventory management systems and processes, analysis and reporting
• You have significant prior experience setting up and maintaining a highly functional, cost-optimized centralized warehouse operations
• You have demonstrated ability to prepare and present training information
• You have successfully lead process and systems improvement and/or change management
• You can influence others, build & maintain internal and external relationships
• You have the grit, resourcefulness, and resilience to thrive in novel, uncertain and constantly-changing business and regulatory environments
• You believe deeply that access matters and that we can and will provide access to essential medical supplies for every person on the planet
• Must be eligible to work in Ghana and willing to travel as often as needed around our distribution centers located across multiple regions in Ghana.
